Like all other employees, the Assistant Production Manager will enjoy direct interaction with company owners and management. Responsiblities
*Scheduling weekly work to ensure proper coverage in each department
*Managing department teams to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner
*Examining daily production information to ensure that employees meet standards and quality
*Aiding in hiring, training, and evaluating new production employees
*Coordinating with maintenance engineering to resolve equipment issues
*Ensuring all products produced are of a very high quality
Qualifications
*3 + years successful production management experience with proven results
*Experience managing people and production in a fast-paced, time-sensitive setting
*Knows production work flow, manages to standards, and is responsive to customers
*Independent thinker and decision maker who requires minimal supervision
*Reviews & interprets reports; uses information to improve performance
*Completes and verifies records
*Bilingual (English/Spanish)
